Paragraph 175: a threat to the German people

In 1871, Paragraph 175 was added to the German Criminal Code. This legislation banned homosexuality between men in Germany. This law has been used to oppress thousands of German citizens simply for who they love for over a century. Most notably, an estimated 100,000 homosexuals were prosecuted under the Nazi regime between 1933 and 1945. I call upon the German government to repeal Paragraph 175 of the German Criminal Code and legalize homosexuality in Germany.
