CANDIDACY DECLARED FOR UACHTARÁN FHIANNA FÁIL/President of Fianna Fáil

I am delighted to have declared my candidacy to run for a position which is incredibly valued within Irish politics. Fianna Fáil needs a leader who is prepared to take the risks that need to be taken in order to ensure that Ireland is governed by a strong party. I am that leader. I would also like to formally endorse both Teresa Costello and Janice Boylan and wish them the best of luck in their respective leadership races to form Fianna Fáil's leadership alongside me, should I win. Together, we will govern Fianna Fáil in a way which ensures we can win the upcoming election for the Irish people. Go raibh maith agat Éire.
