In just ten hours, the general election will come to a conclusion, and all polls are showing a Conservative Party majority. Ashton Gilbert, the leader of the Conservatives is set to become the United Kingdoms first Prime Minister this iteration. That being said, it is expected for Mr Gilbert to step down as Governor of the Bank of England if he is successful in seizing the keys to 10 Downing Street.
