The Reform Revolution Reshapes Congress
Ivanka Trump·

With twenty weeks remaining until Election Day, political analysts are calling the surge of the Reform Party a full-scale “Reform Revolution.” New House projections show Republicans leading with 208 seats, Democrats falling to 158, and the Reform Party soaring to 64 seats. Four Democratic Socialists and one Independent round out a chamber where no party is projected to reach the 218-seat majority threshold. The result would leave the Reform Party holding the balance of power in the House of Representatives, able to determine which party controls the Speakership and legislative agenda. Analysts increasingly believe House leadership negotiations could become the most consequential political battle of 1992. In the Senate, Democrats remain on track to retain a comfortable majority with a projected 58-42 advantage over Republicans. But all eyes remain on the House, where the Reform Revolution continues to upend America’s political establishment.
