IRELAND: A CATHOLIC NATION
Neil Steen·

After my conference this morning, I was delighted to meet with the proud Catholics of Kildare who were rightly fighting for the government to stop having a laissez-faire approach to religion. Ireland is and always will be a Catholic nation, and many of us are incredibly proud and hold religion close to our hearts. Whilst the Taoiseach is uneducated on Irish culture and heritage (as he is not Irish himself) and I further understand that he is a member of the LGBTQ+ community, my fellow citizens and I expect him to deliver a mandate that the people want, not what suits his personal opinion. Tomorrow I will meet with the members of St Brigid's Parish Catholic Church to discuss religious matters. Hopefully, at the end of this meeting, I will have some points ready to present to the government in the Dáil.
