Response to Neil Steen, TD

Once again, Neil Steen shows to us who he is - an ignorant fool. He says my statement about blood on the hands of the Catholic Church is slanderous - does the name Ann Lovett mean anything to him? The nuns of Granard "did not know" about her pregnancy, that same pregnancy that killed her and her child. She was 15 years old, Mr. Steen. Her case is not in isolation - my own sister was sent to a mother-baby-home aged 16. I never saw her face again. Does the Right Dishonourable Mr. Steen want to revert to an Ireland where this happens to girls? An bhfuil sé amadách? I mo thuairim, is amadán an-mhór é. The Church is a disgrace. They cover up sexual abuse - because it is oh so Christian to protect your own when they are abusing children! What of that, Mr. Steen? Perhaps there's a reason your party won 4 seats. You attack me, but the people of Cork overwhelmingly supported me last election. I will not apologise for telling the truth - just like I suspect you will not for your blatant lies.
