Ireland Grows While Steen Stews

Mr. Steens has spent weeks attacking this government, questioning its legitimacy, and acting as though the Irish people made the wrong choice at the ballot box. Yet while he argues over titles, terminology, and social media soundbites, this government is delivering measurable results. The latest CSO figures show 63.9% government approval, strong economic growth, an AA governance rating, and positive performance across healthcare, public safety, infrastructure, and social development. Those are not opinions; they are facts. Democracy does not end when Mr. Steens loses an election. The Irish people chose a different path, and this government is respecting that decision by governing. He is free to oppose us, but he is not entitled to dismiss the judgment of the Irish electorate simply because it did not favour his party.
