ADDRESS FROM THE PRIME MINISTER

My fellow islanders, I wish to address and challenge the fear mongering that's being promoted by members of the opposition. How our nation has plummeted to a "new low" and that I am no longer fit to govern. When I first came into Downing Street, inflation was in the double digits. We had a ballooned deficit, no GDP growth, high unemployment and rampant corruption and crime. All of these challenges we have overcome, thanks to my government. Inflation is still higher than we want it but we have halved it since we came into office. It is the aim of my government to continue seeing GDP growth, reduce income tax and corp tax. But right now, we are going through a difficult period, where the United Kingdom has become mostly isolated on the world stage, and we only have us islanders to support ourselves. Brighter days are ahead, but we can't give ourselves into these fears. The opposition are invited to work with me for a better country, or otherwise we, the Tories, will continue alone.
