A New President for A New Era

Washington, D.C. – In a surprise landslide victory following electoral returns in the US states of Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Illinois, the ticket of Karl Freitag and 14th Emperor have officially been elected as POTUS and VPOTUS with the ticket having secured 305 Electoral College votes. The first Democratic victory this iteration, and the first ticket of the 21st century, the ticket of President-elect Freitag and Vice President-elect 14th Emperor represents a resurgence of the Democratic Party, which had once struggled to win in 1992 and 1996. "Today represents a new dawn in America as we usher in the new millennium. We will deliver what we set out to do and achieve them for the sake of the American people!", stated President-elect Freitag in his victory speech. "We welcome the other parties to continue contributing to our shared American experiment. We are open to ideas," he added.
