NO COMRPOMISE

After Thurmond's proposed defense spending increase was shot down in congress yesterday by the hands of the Reform Party, a meeting with Chairman Buchanan and Congressional Officials decided that the best course of action was to filibuster legislation proposed by Reform or the Democrats until concessions would be made on immigration and defense spending. National Campaigner James Thurmond stated this was "...a necessary step," reaffirming that Reform and the Democrats have "...made their own duopoly." The American Independent Party hopes to work with other parties to ensure the best outcome can be met without alienating Southern voters, of whom Reform and the Democratic party have turned away through their socially liberal policies.
