UK-Japanese relations

As the British finance minister, it was a pleasure to meet with the Chief Executive Officer of Pierce & Pierce, and Japanese minister Takashi Mori at 10 Downing Street London. We discussed the need for British-Japanese trade to remain unaffected by the on going commercial disputes between Japan and the United States. While it is the official position of the British government to dissaprove of the Japanese tariffs on the United States in principle, the United Kingdom will continue to work with Japan and Japanese firms in growing Japanese investment in the United Kingdom, and export our lovely tea to the people of Japan.
