CRIME IS COMING DOWN FASTER THAN EVER

There is a clear message: this Government is securing our borders and taking back our streets. Following the passage of our landmark crime and policing Bill, we are backing our new laws with immediate operational force. While the Conservatives sit on the sidelines so hopelessly divided they don't even know who leads them this week, Labour is delivering for the British public. Effective immediately, I have elevated national border security to Strict, intensifying checks at all ports to strangle transnational crime networks. We are also designating North West England as our primary Regional Policing Priority, flooding tactical units into the area to smash local crime rings. Nationwide, my Enhanced Policing Directive and Public Safety Initiative are active today to put more officers on the beat and secure our public spaces. We locked down the borders. We surged police to the front lines. Labour is delivering real security.
