Jospeh McCarthy's Interior

During a meeting following his appointment, the House Majority Leader, Joseph McCarthy, spoke about his plans for the Department of the Interior. In this interview, he stated ambitious goals about "the new and improved National Parks Service," along with, "We plan on opening 8 national parks a year to ensure the great lands of the United States remain pure." These remarks follow his ambitions of using the full budget surplus the U.S. Department of the Interior has. Up to now, 4 new national parks have been opened to the public, giving plenty of places for recreation, tourism, and sightseeing. The future seems bright for the environment under the new leadership; however, you can never be too sure with new faces.
